Mariyam Badri has extensive experience in telephone counselling and holds a degree of Psychotherapy, Hypnosis, Counseling, Communication Skills, Human Gestures & Body. Mariyam has a broad range of experiences which involves counseling people in relationships, those living with grief and loss, abuse, trauma, domestic violence, anxiety and depression.
She has worked effectively with individuals of all ages, gender, sexual and cultural diversity. Mariyam believes that individuals need to be empowered, as they are experts in dealing with their own psychological problems, the associated social, environmental or quality of life problems, and through empowerment they are able to improve their quality of life.
Her mission is to help people find inner peace, restore relationships and build strong networks where individuals can thrive despite the challenges that life throws at them. Mariyam’s aim is to provide practical, compassionate, therapeutic counselling and workshops that inspire individuals to engage in life changing behaviour. Mariyam is a movie enthusiast and enjoys reading classics by the literary greats. Long walks and coastal drives are part of Mariyam’s leisure time.
